The Kalaikal All-Star Project is KCA’s newest Endeavour to fulfill the need for a platform to allow artists who wish to pursue dance as a career. This project seeks to develop a professional dance team who is able to produce dance productions with Tamil Cultural influences to be showcased within the mainstream media and the arts realm in Toronto and the wider Canadian community.

The All-Star team will function throughout the year to perform at high caliber events and mainstream dance competitions to drive the Tamil Arts to the world stage. Dancers in this team will be developing state of the art compositions along with Tamil influenced forms of dance and choreography bringing a new, vibrant, and explosive form of dance production to Toronto.

Auditions

- All applicants must prepare a 3min routine to perform, in which 1.5 minutes each must be of two different dance genre utilized.
- A music CD with music remixed must be prepared on their own prior to attending the auditions and email the track to allstars@kalaikal.com prior to August 15th.
- Register online and select your preferred location and time for auditions before August 15th, 2010.
- Arrive 10 minutes early for the time slot that you have chosen.
- A fee of $20 applies for applicants

**Please keep in mind only 6 spots will be taken for each hour, so its based on who registers first with that time. Bring with you the audition fee!
